如何增進英文聽力
        很多學生都曾問過要怎麼加強英文。但首先要想一想，英文的聽說讀寫中，哪一部份需要加強
，因為不同的能力需要不同的方法。
        首先在增進聽力部份，如果英文程度仍在基礎階段，或者正要準備初級或中級英檢，課本ＣＤ是最好的教材。不要打開書，先聽一次ＣＤ，把聽到的任何字寫下來，不是句子也沒關係。然後閱讀一次剛聽過的內容，把不懂的地方查出來，或畫下來，最後再聽一次ＣＤ。反覆練習，一定會有進步。
        至於英文程度已經進階的人，可以善加利用英文電視節目，並且試試一個小遊戲。台灣的電視節目大多有中文字幕，所以看電視時，先聽英文，很快地想想中文意思是什麼，然後再看字幕做確認。這個遊戲的好處是馬上就能知道答案。
        當然，學習英文需要不斷的練習，聽得愈多，聽力也會更好。所以，從今天就開始練習，而且要持之以恆喔！

How to Improve English Listening
        There have been many students asking me “How can I improve my English?” But first, you have to ask yourself, “Which ability do you need to improve in English? Listening, speaking, reading, or writing?” Because it requires different strategies to improve different abilities.
        Let’s talk about listening first. For those who are at basic level, such as people who are preparing for GEPT basic or intermediate level, the best material is the textbook CD. First, you can listen to the CD without the book and write down whatever you hear. Then, you have to read the contents and check for what you don’t understand. After that, listen to the CD again and see if you can understand better than the first time.
        As for those who are more advanced, English programs and movies are very good helpers to improve your listening. Here’s a game for you. Because al most every TV program here in Taiwan is subtitled in Chinese, you can listen to the English sentences and guess the Chinese meanings. The best part of the game is that you can learn the answers right away.
        Of course, practice makes perfect. The more you listen, the better you will be. So let’s start from today and do it every day.
